Eko Heritage Awards passed credibility test: got endorsed by Lagos Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Art


 The widely celebrated award of recognition known as Eko Heritage Awards has recorded a boost to its rising profile as it got endorsed by the state's Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

Eko Heritage Awards which is the initiative of Ivory Forte Entertainment is known for its niche of identifying, celebrating, and appreciating  promoters of the state’s cultural heritage with other individuals/organizations drafted from different sectors of economy like the Fashion, Agricultural, Media to the Oil and Gas industries among others.

According to the release signed by Egbe Emmanuel, the Initiator, Eko Heritage Awards and founder of Ivory Forte Entertainment, the vision of the Eko Heritage Awards project is not to celebrate mediocres for pecuniary gains but to encourage every well meaning Lagosians and Nigerian by extension to remain committed towards positives causes that will add value to the centre of Excellence.

A part of the statement stated that “We are thrilled to receive the Lagos State Ministry Of Tourism, Arts and Culture because we share their commitment to the promotion of Tourism, Arts and Cultural endowment of the state as entrenched in the THEMES Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu's Administration in Lagos State."

"The project Eko Heritage Awards does not seek to celebrate charlatans or mediocre, but of course, those whose noble efforts in their various callings have been making positive impact 

directly and indirectly to the continual growth and advancement of our dear Lagos State and 

Nigerian nation by extension" reads the statement.

To hold alongside this year's edition of Eko Heritage Awards is the grand finale of 2023 edition of Miss Eko International Beauty Pageant - another of Ivory Forte Entertainment initiative, and it's scheduled for the second quarter of the year 2023.
